Zoë Parker currently serves as the Community Based Learning Coordinator and Educator at Brattleboro Union High School, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Zoë worked at The Putney School as the English Department Head and English and American Studies Teacher from August 2014 to September 2023, where responsibilities included managing a department of 6-7 teachers and serving on the Educational Program Committee. Zoë's experience also includes teaching English at Almaty International School and The Putney School, where curriculum development and student advising were significant responsibilities. Earlier roles included adjunct teaching at Woodbury College and Upper Valley Academy, and serving as a founding faculty member at High Mountain Institute, where an integrated wilderness and academic curriculum was created. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in English from Middlebury College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
