Dawn Babbitt

Dawn Babbitt has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dawn started their career as the Director of Mercy Professional Care Corp. and Physician Support at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio from September 2000 to January 2006. Dawn then worked as a Physician Educator at Emergency Medicine Physicians from July 2007 to April 2009. Subsequently, they served as the Physician Education/Coding Manager at Immediate Health Associates from April 2009 to December 2014. From January 2006 to December 2014, they also ran their own consulting business, Babbitt Consulting, LLC. In 2015, they joined Brault as the Manager of Practice Improvement and later transitioned to various roles within the company, including Manager of Coding Integrity, Director of Coding Integrity and Education, and currently serves as the Director of Coding Operations. In addition to their work at Brault, they worked as an Instructor at Fortis College from an unknown start date to April 2021 and as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Akron from January 2015 to May 2016.

Dawn Babbitt obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from PennWest Edinboro from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Malone University, which they completed from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained two certifications: CMPE from MGMA in October 2001, and CCS-P from AHIMA in September 1998.
