Annie (Garcia) Lucey began their work experience in 2013 as a Development Assistant at UCLA Health Sciences Development. Annie then became a Development Coordinator in the Immunology department at UCLA Health Sciences Development from December 2015 to December 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Kitchen Assistant at The Gourmandise School of Sweets & Savories, where they played a crucial role in preparing ingredients and assisting students during classes. Later that year, they had a Test Kitchen Externship at goop.com, collaborating with Food Editors to develop and test recipes. Annie also established relationships with culinary experts for interviews and video segments. In 2018, Annie joined Sun Basket as a Freelance Recipe Tester, evaluating and editing meal kit recipes. Annie also participated in the founding team of Just Date Syrup, where they developed and published recipes to promote the product. As a trained cook and recipe developer, Annie created original recipes on their own platform, AnnieLucey.Com, starting in 2014. Currently, since 2019, Annie works at Brava Home Inc. as the Director of Recipe Development + Culinary Content. Annie'sresponsibilities include conceptualizing and testing recipes, writing food-focused content, and hosting on-camera educational cooking videos.

Annie (Garcia) Lucey has a diverse education history. Annie completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and English from UCLA in 2013. In 2017, they earned a Professional Culinary Arts Diploma from the New School of Cooking. Prior to these achievements, they attended La Scuola di Leonardo da Vinci in 2011. Additionally, Annie attended UCLA at another point in time, although it is unclear if they completed a degree or field of study during that period.
