Thomas Cheng

Thomas Cheng has a strong background in technology and entrepreneurship. Thomas co-founded Brava Home Inc., where they served as the CTO from September 2016 and as the CEO from April 2015 to September 2016. Prior to that, they worked at August Home, Inc. as the Head of Hardware and Advisor from April 2013 to December 2014. During their tenure, they led the design and manufacturing of a popular smart lock, significantly expanding the company's business and authoring numerous patents. Before that, Thomas was the Technical Co-founder at Streetline Networks from April 2005 to December 2011, where they raised a substantial amount of funding and led the deployment of a large commercial sensor network. Thomas also had a role as an Engineering Consultant at Dust networks from July 2003 to August 2004.

Thomas Cheng attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical engineering and computer science. Thomas also briefly attended UCLA from 2004 to 2005, although no information regarding a degree or field of study is available for this period.
