Marisa Hurtado

Marisa Hurtado has worked in the medical billing field since 2017. Marisa began their career as a Front Desk Receptionist at GENESIS FAMILY PRACTICE, LLC. In 2020, they took on a role as a Customer Service Representative at Carenet Health. In 2019, they became an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Synergy Billing. In 2021, they began working at The Wellness and Hydration Clinic as a Medical Billing Specialist and Medical Biller Manager. In the same year, they began working at Brave Health as a Medical Billing Specialist. In this role, they hold the responsibility for obtaining and correcting claim information on a day to day basis and finds comfort in helping resolve patient billing issues. Marisa has stated that working with Brave Health has made their a better person.

Marisa Hurtado has an education history that includes an Associate of Science degree in Medical Insurance Specialist/Medical Biller from Ultimate Medical Academy, which they obtained in 2017. Marisa is currently pursuing two Bachelor's degrees from Florida Technical College in Business Administration and Management, General and Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. In 2021, they obtained a HIPAA Associate certification from the North American Learning Institute.
