Beth Smith

Beth Smith, PhD, P.E., currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at Bravo Team Engineering Design & Fabrication since January 2023. Previously, Beth held the position of Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from January 2020 to December 2022, where responsibilities included teaching thermal engineering and energy management courses, mentoring students, and conducting research in computational modeling and augmented reality. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Specialist at Securboration and Senior Engineer at ARA, as well as Research Assistant at the Applied Research Lab, Pennsylvania State University, focusing on computational fluid modeling. Beth Smith earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, an MS from Penn State University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business from North Carolina State University.
