Matthew Calvin

Matthew Calvin is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in design and engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently at Bravo Team Engineering Design & Fabrication since March 2023, Matthew previously worked as a Design Engineer at Methods Machine Tools, Inc., and as a Mechanical Engineer at IST PRECISION. Early career experience includes positions as a Computational Analyst at Corvid Technologies, where Matthew focused on prototype design for missile defense and hypervelocity testing. Additional experience encompasses teaching as an Instructor at Central Piedmont Community College and serving as a Research Assistant at UNC Charlotte, specializing in mechanical design for magnetic gearboxes. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical and Applied Energy Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
