Dominic Cercone Jr. has worked in the software engineering industry for over 20 years. Dominic began their career in 1997 as an Internship and Associate Software Developer at Sterling Commerce. In 2007, they moved to Motorists Insurance Group as a Consultant and then to Centric Consulting as a Senior Consultant. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Alliance Data Systems and a Consultant at Nationwide Insurance, where they developed two independent web sites. In 2013, they joined Sedgwick as a Mobile Developer (iOS) and Resource/Ammirati as a Developer. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as an Applications Developer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and a Web Developer at TEKsystems. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at braXos Security Software.

Dominic Cercone Jr. began their education journey at Lordstown High School from 1991-1993. Dominic then attended Austintown Fitch High School from 1993-1995 before moving on to Youngstown State University to study Telecommunications from 1995-1996. After this, they attended The Ohio State University from 1996-2000, studying Computer Science. Finally, they obtained a BS in Computer Science from Franklin University from 2001-2006. Additionally, Dominic has obtained various certifications from Code School in topics such as Adventures in Web Animations, Assembling Sass, Assembling Sass Part 2, Blasting Off With Bootstrap, CSS Cross-Country, Front-end Formations, Front-end Foundations, Fundamentals of Design, Journey Into Mobile, The Elements of Web Design, Unmasking HTML Emails, and You, Me.
