In June 2024, Derek founded Irick Construction, LLC, which specializes in residential and commercial real estate acquisitions and developments. Previously, Derek held positions at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. as a Licensed Realtor and Inside Sales Representative, along with experience as an Executive Personal Assistant at Bray Real Estate Co and as a Server at Genghis Grill. Derek holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship, and an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts, all from Colorado Mesa University.
