Jacky Kaiwah Ng

Jacky Kaiwah Ng is a Senior Software Engineer at Braze since March 2020 and has been the Owner of theasian.dev since March 2017, providing web solutions and consulting across the product development life cycle. As a Mentor at Thinkful since December 2018, Jacky supports aspiring software engineers. Previously, Jacky served as Lead Software Engineer at Black Lapel (August 2014 - February 2020), managing the technology team and leading significant projects including an EmberJS e-commerce platform and API microservices. Jacky’s career also includes roles as Lead Developer at I360 Marketing and Co-Founder of Asian Trade Ventures, alongside experience as a Designer at East West Media, LLC, and various internship and co-op positions. Jacky holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned in 2011.
