Michelle Griffith

Michelle Griffith began their career at Brazosport Independent School District in 1990 as a Teacher until 2003. Michelle then transitioned to roles within the district's Library Media Centers, starting as a Librarian Media Specialist in 2003. Over the years, Michelle advanced to become the Lead Media Specialist, overseeing 18 Media Specialists across PreK-12th grade campuses, coordinating meetings, staff developments, and developing strategic plans for the district's Library Media Centers. In 2017, they took on the role of K-12 Instructional Resource Coordinator and Lead Media Specialist at the district.

Michelle Griffith completed their Bachelor of Science in Education with a Reading Specialization from the University of Houston in 1990. Michelle then went on to earn a Master of School Library Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2006.
