Irene Manta

Irene Manta is an experienced professional in the field of risk management, currently serving as an Expert in Enterprise Risk Management at BRD - Groupe Societe Generale since February 2020. In this role, Irene plays a crucial part in the centralized risk management function, focusing on the identification, assessment, and management of various risks while contributing to the implementation of prudential regulations regarding credit risk. Previously, Irene held significant positions such as Head of Strategic Risk & Portfolio Management at UniCredit Tiriac Bank, Credit Department Manager at Fortis Bank, Manager of SME Credit Underwriting at Credit Europe Bank, and Risk Manager and Credit Risk Manager at HVB. Irene holds a degree in Banks and Stock Exchange from Academia de Studii Economice din București, obtained between 1994 and 1998.
