Joseph Berger serves as President & CEO of BRE Hotels & Resorts since September 2018. Prior to this role, Joseph held significant positions including Executive Vice President and President of the Americas at Hilton from May 2008 to September 2018, and President at LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Joseph was President of Prime Hotels for a brief period in 2004 and served as General Manager of the Westin St. Francis under Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from January 2000 to January 2004. Joseph's hotel management career began at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, where responsibilities spanned from 1990 to 2004. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Penn State University, with studies completed between 1979 and 1985.
