Abraham Plaut

Abraham Plaut is a versatile professional with a strong background in community service, law, and social justice. Currently serving as a Medical Enrollment Coordinator at Bread for the City since September 2022, Abraham guides patients through health insurance processes and enhances collaboration between medical and legal clinics. Previous roles include Legal Clinic Coordinator, Service Corps Member at Avodah, Blog Manager for the Bloomington Delta Music Club, and Trumpet Player and Horn Arranger for Street Pennies Entertainment LLC. Abraham has also contributed to political organizations as Press Secretary for College Democrats at Indiana University and as a Steering Committee member for The Queer Student Union. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Bloomington, Abraham combines academic knowledge with practical experience to address social issues effectively.
