Jason Blanton

Jason Blanton currently serves as the State Organizer for North Carolina at Bread for the World since June 2023. Prior to this role, Jason was the Southeast Regional Director of Development at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary from April 2022 to June 2023. Jason has extensive pastoral experience, having served as Pastor at Grace Crossing from August 2010 to March 2022, and as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Smithton from August 2005 to August 2010. Jason holds a Postgraduate Degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2020-2021) and two Master of Divinity degrees in Pastoral Studies/Counseling from Gardner-Webb University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education from the same institution.
