Michele Learner

Managing Editor at Bread for the World

Michele Learner has extensive experience in advocacy and resource development, currently serving as Managing Editor at Bread for the World Institute since November 2001. In this role, Michele protects the organization's credibility and advances its mission by leading the creation of resources that engage policymakers and equip lay advocates. Prior to this position, Michele was a Writer Editor responsible for producing and refining publications aimed at grassroots advocates. From 1992 to 2001, Michele worked as an Africa Programs Specialist at the National Endowment for Democracy. Michele holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs with a focus on humanitarian affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from DePauw University.
