Christian J. has worked in the software engineering field since 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Web Developer at Mathbrainius, where they designed a vanilla JavaScript component system to make video-based math problems interactive. That same year, they also worked at Readorium by Mtelegence as a Web Developer, where they improved the UI of the online web app using CSS. In 2019, they worked at Break the Love as a Software Engineer and React Developer, where they facilitated the incremental adoption of TypeScript and the gradual shift from Create React App to Next.js. Christian also worked at Rutgers University as a Mobile Application Developer, where they contributed to redesigning the student app and portal, joining many other university services into one platform. Finally, in 2020, they worked at Rutgers Mobile App Development as a Lead Backend Mentor, where they designed and taught a backend curriculum.
Christian J. attended Flatiron School in 2015, where they studied Intro to Software Engineering. Christian then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
