Heather Elliott has significant experience in network security, engineering and operations management, specifically in the realm of cybersecurity operations. Most recently, they served as a Senior Network Security Engineer for BreakPoint Labs, where they contributed to the development and implementation of sustainable and effective cybersecurity practices. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Operations Center Manager for ASRC Federal, a provider of engineering and technical services to federal government agencies. Before that, they held roles as a Network Security Engineer with KSH Solutions, Inc. and as a Network Engineer with Secure Mission Solutions a Parsons Company. Heather has been working in the area of cybersecurity since 2004.

Heather Elliott pursued their undergraduate education at Salisbury University from 1999 to 2003 where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. Heather later attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2018 to 2020 where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity Technology and Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Heather has a variety including a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, DISA ACAS Version 5.3 and several others from DISA, as well as Network+, Security+ CE, and various certifications from Juniper Networks.
