Matt Gonzales-Earhart has worked at Breakthrough Central Texas as an Associate Director and Program Coordinator since November 2020. Prior to that, Matt held roles as an Administrator and Teacher at Austin Independent School District from August 2006 to November 2020. Matt holds a Master of Education from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Central Missouri.

Breakthrough Central Texas
In Central Texas, only 8% of middle school students from low-income communities will go on to earn a college degree. To combat this inequity, Breakthrough makes a 12-year commitment to help children become the first in their families to graduate from college. Our program focuses on a combination of extended learning, comprehensive advising, and leadership experiences to help students prepare for, persist through, and ultimately, graduate from college. From middle school to high school to college through college graduation, we are there every step of the way. In 2018, Breakthrough will serve more than 1,650 students in Central Texas.
