Andrea E. Luteran Yackenovich

As Director of Operations, Andrea Yackenovich brings over a decade of operational and administrative leadership experience to the Breakthrough Energy Ventures team.

Prior to joining Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Andrea led the operation and supported programming as Managing Director of Operations at Duke University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative, a university wide effort of educational, research, and translational programs designed to foster innovation and enable entrepreneurship for all members of the Duke community.

Andrea has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Duke University, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Mary Washington College.
