Jane Zhang

Jane Zhang is an experienced professional currently serving as Head of Southeast Asia/Singapore, Fellows at Breakthrough Energy since September 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing initiatives in energy transition. Prior to this role, Jane held the position of Energy Transition Advisor at Endeavor Management for a brief period. Jane's extensive tenure at Shell, which spanned over 30 years, included leadership roles such as General Manager of Shell Technology Brazil and General Manager of Global Deepwater Technology, alongside positions in various technical and engineering capacities. Jane holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University, complemented by education at INSEAD.
