Breakthrough Houston
Breakthrough Houston prepares students with high academic potential, but limited educational resources, for competitive high school programs and college admission. We offer tuition-free, academic enrichment through our Summer, School Year, and College Bound programs. Our students have been admitted to some of the highest ranked high schools in Houston, such as St. John’s, Episcopal, Debakey High School for Health Professions, Carnegie Vanguard, Lamar, YES Prep, and Bellaire. Our graduates have gone on to attend universities like Stanford, Yale, Emory, Georgetown, SMU, Baylor, and the University of Texas. Additionally, Breakthrough trains talented college and high school students for careers in education -- 85% of our teaching fellows say they're more interested in a teaching career thanks to their Breakthrough experiences. We hope you’ll consider donating or applying to be part of Breakthrough Houston! http://breakthroughhouston.org/
