Kirsi Hunnakko

Kirsi Hunnakko serves as the Executive Director at the Sexual Assault Centre Kingston since October 2023 and is the owner of LEVÄTÄ, a role undertaken since November 2022. Kirsi has been a mentor for Breathe For Change since June 2022 and operates as a writer/editor in a self-employed capacity since May 2015. Previously, Kirsi worked as an administrator for Creative Users Projects until October 2023 and held the position of Executive Director at the Kingston Arts Council from October 2018 to November 2021. Additional experience includes serving as the Communications and Finance Coordinator at the Museum of Health Care, an Interim Tour Manager for Haunted Walks, Inc., and various roles at the Southeastern Ontario Academic Medical Organization and Queen's University. Kirsi holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from Queen's University and a Certificate in Editing from Simon Fraser University.
