Justine Gagnepain

Justine Gagnepain has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Communications Analyst at Bombardier Inc., where they were responsible for evaluating and approving donations and sponsorships. From 2015 to 2016, Justine served as a Senior Account Executive and Account Executive at Edelman, where they focused on strategic planning, media relations, crisis management, and graphic design.

In 2017, Justine joined Dynamicly, initially as an Application Developer, and later as the Director of Product Development. Justine played a key role in the development of the company's DAVE™ conversational computing platform and mentored developers in React and SCSS best practices. Justine also acted as the primary point of contact for the company's pharmaceutical and corporate clients.

In 2019, Justine became a Software Developer and UI Designer at Knox Custody, contributing to the development of the company's asset management portal and redesigning knoxcustody.com. Justine then joined G2i Inc. in 2020 as a Software Developer, where they worked on projects involving React, TypeScript, Cypress, GraphQL, Next.js, and Tailwind. Justine built an internal calendar application and a portal used by G2i collective members to update their profiles.

Most recently, in 2021, Justine held the position of Software Developer at Left Field Labs, where they utilized their skills in software development to contribute to the company's projects. Furthermore, they currently hold the role of Senior Software Developer at Breathe Life, a company that was acquired by Zinnia.

Justine Gagnepain began their education in 2000 at Ecole active bilingue jeannine manuel in Paris, France, where they completed their Baccalauréat scientifique mention Très Bien in 2009. Justine then enrolled at McGill University from 2011 to 2014, completing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with a focus on Political Sciences, Economics, and Chinese studies. In 2013, they briefly studied at Renmin University of China. In 2015, they pursued a Diploma in Graphic Design and Web applications at Concordia University. Justine took a Web Development Intensive Bootcamp at Lighthouse Labs in 2017. Currently, Justine is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Computation Arts at Concordia University, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2025.
