Muhammad Umar Hassan has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an Assistant Manager at Mitchell's Fruit Farms Pvt. Ltd., where they were responsible for the continuous improvement wing and successfully prepared solutions for various problems and cases. Muhammad Umar then moved on to the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) as an Assistant Manager and later transitioned to Lahore University of Management Sciences as a Development Engineer. In 2015, they founded FivePointNine and in 2016, they joined Qosain Scientific as the Chief Technology Officer. In 2022, they co-founded BreatheIO and founded both BatteryX and Markhor3D. Throughout their career, Muhammad Umar Hassan has shown their entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise.
Muhammad Umar Hassan completed their Pre-Engineering degree from Government College University in Lahore, from the years 2006 to 2008. Muhammad Umar further pursued higher education in the field of Mechanical Engineering, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, from 2008 to 2012.
