Dan Senkans

Dan Senkans is a highly experienced geologist with a robust background in managing and delivering geological projects across various sectors. Currently serving as Regional Geological Manager and Senior Geologist at Breedon Group plc since January 2022, Dan has previously held key positions at SOCOTEC UK as Project Manager, responsible for overseeing project delivery and maintaining financial and safety performance. Dan's earlier roles include Senior Engineering Geologist at Soil Engineering Geoservices Limited, where contract management and technical reporting were primary responsibilities, and Senior Geologist at Hanson UK, focusing on mineral resource management. Dan started a career in geology at Banks Group and has an academic foundation that includes a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Geology from The University of Manchester and a Diploma in Mineral Extractive Studies from the University of Derby.
