Kristian Brace

Kristian Brace has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, starting as an Accounts Junior at MJ Shapcott & Co Ltd in 2008. Kristian then progressed to roles such as Assistant Accountant at Derby QUAD Limited, Accountancy Officer at Erewash Borough Council, and Performance and Reporting Accountant at Nottinghamshire YMCA. Most recently, they held notable positions at Breedon Group plc, serving as a Commercial Management Accountant, Finance Systems Manager, Systems Development Manager, and currently, as Programme Lead - Finance Technology. Before joining Breedon, they also worked as a Commercial Analyst at Essentra.

Kristian Brace pursued their education starting with the Association of Accounting Technicians where they obtained a degree in AAT specializing in Accounting from 2009 to 2012. Kristian then went on to study at Kaplan International Pathways from 2015 to 2019, earning a degree in CIMA. Furthering their education, Kristian completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Derby from 2019 to 2022 with a focus on Business. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Project Management from Knowledge Academy in 2020 and 2022, specializing in PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner, as well as Managing Successful Programmes.
