Lead Frontend Developer at Breeze

Philip van den Heuvel has a diverse range of work experience. Philip is currently the CFO and Co-Founder of Breeze, a dating app that organizes offline dates at scale. In this role, they are responsible for financial and legal issues, as well as being involved in the development of the iOS and Android application.

Philip has also worked as a VC Investment Intern at Plug and Play Tech Center, where they focused on analyzing hardware/smart tech startups and shared their findings with colleagues.

Philip has experience in promotional roles at Delft University of Technology and United Netherlands, where they promoted and informed prospective students about the programs and participated in model diplomacy training.

Additionally, Philip has worked as a Project Manager and Executive Board member at De Kleine Consultant, a non-profit strategy consultant run by students. Philip has also held roles as a Delegate and Student Consultant at Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School and ING, respectively.

Prior to these experiences, they served as the President of ETV, representing Electrical Engineering students and participating in international congresses. Philip has also had internships at Mar-In Controls BV and Credo Fundraising BV.

Philip van den Heuvel began their education at Wolfert Dalton, where they obtained their Gymnasium (VWO) degree in the fields of Nature & Technology and Nature & Health from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they also achieved the International Baccalaureate C1 certification from The International Baccalaureate in July 2014 and participated in the National youth debate organized by NJR in March 2014.

Following their Gymnasium education, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology in 2014 and completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering between 2014 and 2018.

In 2018, Philip pursued further studies at Delft University of Technology, undertaking a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering, which they completed in 2020.

Additionally, they attended The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2018 for an International Summer School, but the specific field of study for this program is not provided.
