Mike Wuerger

Michael Wuerger is the Chief Operating Officer at Breeze Airways™ since June 2022, bringing extensive experience in operational leadership from previous roles at Allegiant and Mesa Airlines, Inc. At Allegiant, Wuerger served as Vice President of OCC for nearly nine years, where responsibilities included enhancing operational performance through continuous improvement initiatives and technology implementations. This role followed various leadership positions, including Director of Operations FAR 119 and Director of Flight Safety, ensuring legal and safe airline operations while developing safety and regulatory compliance programs. Prior to Allegiant, Wuerger directed safety and regulatory compliance at Mesa Airlines, successfully managing audits with zero findings. Wuerger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering Technology from Arizona State University.
