Shayam Mistry is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in naval defense systems and project management. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Breeze-Eastern LLC since August 2025, Mistry previously contributed to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) as a CIWS Systems Engineer, where key contributions included developing the RAM Missile Reload-At-Sea capability and supporting the deployment of cUAS systems. Prior experience as a Project Manager involved managing shipboard environmental systems installations and securing project funding. Mistry has experience as a Project Mechanical Engineer at Sigma-Netics, a Capstone Senior Design co-team lead at Rutgers University, and as an Independent Researcher focused on lunar habitation techniques. Additionally, Mistry held leadership roles in the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, developing programs to support STEM students. Mistry holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
