Sylvia Swanson has over two decades of experience in group sales and event planning. Currently, Sylvia serves as the Group Sales Manager and Group Reservations Manager at Breezy Point Resort, a position held since March 2006. Prior experience includes working as an Event Planner at Polaris Industries from June 1992 to October 2002, where Sylvia coordinated events across the United States and Canada for various product lines. Sylvia's educational background includes attendance at Ridgewater College from 1975 to 1976 and graduation from Minneota Public High School in 1975.

Breezy Point Resort is a full service, year round resort on Pelican Lake in the heart of the Brainerd, Minnesota resort country. Established in 1922, Breezy Point has a rich history and has grown to include 250 rooms, cabins and condos, two 18-hole golf courses, a complete boat marina, and three restaurants. Our Convention Center offers over 25,000 square feet of the best meeting rooms and ballrooms in the midwest. Our professional planning staff ensures your attendees will love our accommodations. Antlers Restaurant overlooks the Whitebirch Golf Course with waterfalls and ponds and patios for a relaxing lunch or dinner. The Marina II Restaurant is the areas newest fine dining. The Marina II serves breakfast and dinner all summer long. Winter recreation is endless with bonfires, skating rinks, skiing and hot tubs! Breezy Belle is our 110 passenger paddleboat available for public cruises or your very own private charter. There's nothing more fun than an afternoon on the water.
