Nandini Hampole

Nandini Hampole is the VP, ESG & Responsible Investing at Bregal Milestone. Prior to their current role, they served as the Secondee for KKR Responsible Investment Program and Manager of Climate Change and Sustainability Services at Ernst & Young. Nandini has also worked as a CSR Consultant for Ann Taylor Retail.

Nandini has extensive experience in developing executive presence and working with key internal stakeholders to gain buy-in on various ESG policies, procedures and programs. During their time as the Secondee for KKR Responsible Investment Program, they co-led ESG policy and process development for asset classes beyond PE: private credit and infrastructure. Nandini also developed a portfolio company level ESG assessment to identify areas of opportunity to engage companies and subsequently report on progress to LPs. In their role as Manager of Climate Change and Sustainability Services at Ernst & Young, they supported KKR’s Global Impact Strategy’s post-investment impact measurement and monitoring processes for all the investments under the strategy.

Before their work in the responsible investment field, Nandini served as a CSR Consultant for Ann Taylor Retail. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing the company’s CSR strategy. This included creating programs that would reduce the company’s environmental footprint, engaging employees in CSR initiatives, and communicating the company’s CSR efforts to stakeholders.

Nandini Hampole has a Masters in Environment and Sustainable Development from Sciences Po, a Masters in Politics with a specialization in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya, and a B.A. in Psychology, Journalism and English Literature from Bangalore University. Nandini also has certification from Social Accountability International in SA8000.
