Neil Shah

Neil Shah currently serves as Operating Partner and Head of M&A at Bregal Sagemount, a prominent growth investor in the B2B Software and Tech Enabled Services sectors, since May 2023. Previously, Neil was involved in mergers, acquisitions, and investments at Ziff Davis from 2019 to April 2023, where Neil contributed to over 15 transactions in the middle-market technology, media, and telecommunications space. At J2 Global, Neil supported the public spin-off of two major companies with a combined value exceeding $2 billion. Neil's experience in investment banking was fostered during a tenure at Houlihan Lokey in the Tech M&A Group, and prior roles included positions at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and Mackenzie Investments focusing on private equity and asset management. Neil completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance at Queen's University and the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
