Martin Villar

Martin Villar has over 18 years of experience in the software development industry. Martin started their career in 1999 as a developer and database administrator for Cooperativa de Electricidad Bariloche Ltda. in their hometown of Bariloche, Argentina. In 2006, they moved to ALTEC Telecomunicaciones y Sistemas S.E. where they worked on solutions for health insurance, RFID access control, human resources, and parking systems.

In 2007, Martin began working for Simetrias as a senior developer. Martin remained with the company for 10 years, during which time they worked on projects for local and overseas companies. In 2017, they left Simetrias to join Brella as a software engineer.

At Brella, Martin is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's flagship product, Brella Connect. Martin has also played a key role in Brella's recent expansion into the US market.

They work with Rance Fears - Regional Sales Director, Abbie Albright - Director, Product Strategy, and Mike Zarrillo - Chief Revenue Officer. Martin Villar reports to Veer Gidwaney, Founder & CEO.
