Sebastian Burzacchi

Sebastian Burzacchi is currently an advisor at Brella Insurance. Prior to that, they spent 5 years and 9 months at Oscar Health, where they held various positions including Senior Vice President Operations, VP of Service Operations, Head of Concierge, Director Insurance Operations, and Head of Claims Operations. At Oscar Health, Sebastian was responsible for leading operations for the company's platform, +Oscar. This included overseeing the Concierge (customer service), Clinical Care Team (case management), Sales Operations, Provider Operations teams, Claims, Enrollment and Billing, Clinical Review, and CG&A. Sebastian was also a strategic partner to the Case Management and Utilization Management clinical teams.

Before joining Oscar Health, Sebastian spent 11 years at vineyard vines, where they held various positions including Vice President, Special Projects, Vice President, Operations, Interim CIO, Director of Operations, and Operations Manager. At vineyard vines, Sebastian was responsible for leading and executing the top programs to drive corporate strategy. Sebastian also analyzed corporate data (customer, digital, financial and product) to provide program and strategy recommendations to the executive management with a focus on driving long-term value by increasing periodic revenue and retention rates. In addition, Sebastian led and managed the operational strategy as well as the program management and delivery of all projects within the operational umbrella. Sebastian was also responsible for one of the largest company P&Ls and was constantly initiatives to drive bottom line savings.

Sebastian has also served on the board of advisors for Brella Insurance for 2 years and 3 months.

Sebastian Burzacchi has an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
