Shannon Christian

Shannon Christian currently serves as the Superintendent of the Bremen City School System, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Shannon Christian was the Chief Financial Officer for the Lumpkin County School System from December 2018 to June 2022, providing financial expertise to the Superintendent and stakeholders. Shannon Christian also has significant experience in the Butts County School System, where the role of Assistant Superintendent of Operations involved directing daily operations for a system of 5 schools, serving 3,500 students and 466 employees, from July 2012 to December 2018. Earlier professional experiences include roles as Executive Director of Operations and Principal at Carroll County Schools between May 2004 and June 2012. Shannon Christian's educational background includes an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision from Jacksonville State University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of West Georgia.
