Kja Harper-Gopaul

Ms. Harper-Gopaul received her Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies and a minor degree in Public Policy from the University of California-Santa Barbara. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Washington and Lee School of Law. During law school, Ms. Harper-Gopaul participated in the Fredrick Douglass Moot Court competition, was an active member of the Black Law Student Association, and a student caseworker in the Advanced Administration Litigation Clinic.

Prior to joining BWBO, Ms. Harper-Gopaul worked at a workers’ compensation defense law firm and civil litigation defense law firm. At her previous law firm, Ms. Harper-Gopaul successfully argued a Motion for Summary Judgement, which dismissed a plaintiff’s premise liability lawsuit against a public entity. Now, her practice primarily focuses on insurance defense and general liability.

Ms. Harper-Gopaul is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
