Maryam Hemmati

Ms. Hemmati is an associate attorney working in Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara’s Newport Beach office. She is originally from Iran and moved to the United States in 1997. In 2001, Ms. Hemmati attended California State University in the city of Long Beach, where she graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Arts and Graphic Design. She worked as a graphic designer for over 10 years and worked on several projects for Fortune 500 companies, such as Apple and Microsoft. Ms. Hemmati subsequently attended Trinity Law School in 2013, graduating in 2016. While in law school, she was the editor in chief in Law Review, president of criminal law society, officer of the Student Bar Association, and vice president of Alternative Dispute Resolution society. She also attended Institut International des Droits de l’Homme in Strasbourg, France, with an emphasis in Human Rights and Child Labor.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hemmati worked as a case manager and subsequently as an attorney at three different Plaintiff Personal injury law firms. She also has experience in Worker’s Compensation on both the applicant and the defense side.

Ms. Hemmati is licensed to practice law in all state courts in California, as well as US District Court of California, and Central District. She has experience handling all phases of pre-litigation and litigation in a wide range of general liability cases, including motor vehicle accidents, personal injuries, premise liability, dog bites, and government entities.
