Gerry Ansell

Gerry Ansell currently serves as the Director of Inclusive Regeneration and Employment at Brent Council since April 2019, overseeing areas such as regeneration, planning, building control, transport, and employment and skills. Previous roles include Interim Director of Regeneration Growth and Employment and Head of Planning and Development Services, where responsibilities involved managing planning applications and spatial policy. Prior to Brent Council, Gerry served as Interim Head of Planning, Transport and Licensing at London Borough of Waltham Forest and held the position of Planning Projects Manager at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. Additionally, Gerry worked as Major Projects Manager, focusing on major development schemes and Section 106/CIL at Enfield Council, where the role included overseeing Local Plans, Urban Design, and Heritage from May 2013 to March 2018.
