Saqib Butt

Saqib Butt possesses extensive experience in both local government and the telecommunications sector. Since May 2018, Saqib has served as the Vice Chair of the Planning Committee at Brent Council, along with being a local ward councillor for Sudbury in Brent North until May 2022. In December 2020, Saqib became a Director at First Wave Housing Limited and i4B Holdings Limited, both entities owned by Brent Council, focusing on social housing and reducing homelessness. Saqib's long-standing career at Openreach, beginning in November 1999, has included roles such as Field Based Coordinator and Assistant Manager Operations, contributing to fibre and network delivery projects. Saqib's educational background includes attendance at Copland Community School from 1985 to 1990.
