Thomas Cattermole

Thomas Cattermole is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service management. Currently serving as the Acting Corporate Director for Residents and Housing Services at Brent Council since March 2014, Thomas oversees a range of essential functions including homelessness, housing needs, council tax, and community services. Previously, Thomas held the position of Director of Resident Services, focusing on areas such as customer services, arts, and bereavement operations, and as Head of Executive and Member Services, managing governance and electoral functions. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Ofsted, Haringey Council, and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions, along with teaching English as a Foreign Language. Thomas holds a BA Hons in Arts and Social Sciences from the University of Strathclyde and a Political Studies Diploma from Institut d’études Politiques de Paris.
