Donna Gwaltney Ph.d., Sphr

Donna Gwaltney, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and education. Donna served as the HR Director at Brentwood Baptist Church, where they provided strategic leadership and oversaw various HR functions. Prior to that, they worked at Belmont University as an Adjunct Instructor and Assistant Director of Human Resources, where they focused on recruitment activities and implemented process improvements. Donna also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Limestone College and Eastern University, teaching HR classes for graduate programs. Donna volunteered as a College Relations Representative for MT-SHRM. In addition, they served as the Director of Administrative Services at Palm Beach County Tax Collector, where they managed IT, HR, purchasing, and facilities functions and implemented a new performance management system.

Donna Gwaltney, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP has an extensive educational background in the field of Human Resources and Organizational Leadership. Donna earned their Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1990. Donna then went on to complete their Master's degree in Human Resource Development & Administration at Barry University in 1996. In 2008, Donna pursued their Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, which they successfully completed in 2013 at Eastern University.

In addition to their academic achievements, Donna Gwaltney holds two important certifications. In December 1996, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. More recently, in February 2015, they achieved the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). These certifications demonstrate their expertise and dedication to their profession.
