Joy Stewart

Joy Stewart is the current President at Brentwood Originals. Stewart has over 25 years of experience in the home textile industry. Joy started their career as an Assistant Buyer at Mervyns - Target Corporation Division in 1983 and was promoted to Senior Buyer in 1985. In 1993, they were promoted to Divisional Merchandise Manager Children's Apparel. In 1998, they left Target Corporation to become an Independent Sales Representative, where they represented home textile importers/manufacturers throughout the U.S. During their time as an Independent Sales Representative, they grew sales of major retail accounts including Target, Kohls, Macys, JCPenney, Bed, Bath, Beyond, and Marmaxx. In 2009, they became President of Spencer Enterprises, Inc. and held that position until 2017 when they joined Sure Fit Home Decor as SVP Sales. Joy has been with Brentwood Originals since July 2018 and is currently serving as President.

Joy Stewart has a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University - East Bay. Joy is currently working in marketing and advertising.
