Sandrine Mikol

Sandrine Mikol is an experienced professional in the field of agricultural research and development, currently serving as Chargée de développement économique at Brest Métropole since March 2019. Prior to this role, Sandrine worked at the Institut Technique de la Betterave from September 2015 to February 2017 as Chargée de projets scientifiques, where activities included analyzing the post-registration network of sugar beet varieties and coordinating technical publications. Sandrine's research career began at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research from January 2008 to August 2015 as Ingénieur de recherche with a focus on the molecular bases of fruit quality, earning a Doctorate in functional genomics. Early experiences include positions as an engineer and intern with various agricultural organizations from 2005 to 2007. Sandrine holds a Doctorate in plant molecular biology from L'Institut Agro Rennes-Angers and an agronomy engineering degree with a specialization in plant improvement from ENSAR.
