Michael Sawadski

Michael Sawadski is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Bretford since June 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held key positions at Life Fitness as Senior Program Manager, overseeing cross-functional teams for major product development programs, and at OPTO International, Inc. as Director of Engineering and Product Development, where significant new revenue was generated through innovative retail designs. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Excelitas Technologies, Bretford, Metrom Rail, and Motorola Mobility, where notable achievements include managing the development of the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone and generating substantial revenue through innovative designs. Michael earned an MBA in New Product Development and Change Management from DePaul University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University.
