Laura Stuart is a Partner in the Wills, Trusts, and Probate team she assists customers with matters surrounding their personal affairs. This includes Will drafting, Grant applications, the administration of estates, and the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorneys. She has a keen interest in Court of Protection work from the preparation of applications for the appointment of Deputies and Trustees to assisting Deputies with the day-to-day administration of managing a person’s affairs.

Laura qualified as a Solicitor in August 2015 after obtaining a Law Degree by studying part-time with the Open University, completing the Legal Practice Course at the National College of Law Training, and training with Brethertons LLP for two years. Whilst studying for nine years, she worked in the legal sector covering different areas of law and has previously held legal roles at a sole practitioner’s firm and the Crown Prosecution Service. She has worked for Brethertons LLP since April 2010.
