Andreas Billmeier

Andreas Billmeier is a seasoned economist currently serving as the Chief European Economist at Brevan Howard since September 2022. Prior to this role, Billmeier held positions as a Sovereign Analyst and European economist at Western Asset Management, and as an Economist at Stone Milliner Asset Management, where responsibilities included leading macro research and developing investment strategies. Billmeier's earlier career includes senior economist roles at Ziff Brothers Investments and experience as an Economist at the International Monetary Fund, providing macroeconomic policy advice. Billmeier earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute and holds degrees in Economics from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
