Hakan Guney

Hakan Guney, CAIA, currently serves as the COO of US Trading and Global Credit at Brevan Howard since August 2022. Prior to this role, Hakan held the position of Global COO for Credit Trading at Nomura from 2018 to August 2022. Between 2015 and 2018, Hakan was the Global Securitized Products & Credit Trading COO in Global Markets at Deutsche Bank, after serving as the EMEA Head of Fixed Income Prime Brokerage & OTC Clearing and Head of Hedge Fund CRM Credit Strategies & Fund Derivatives at the same institution from 2008 to 2014. Hakan began a professional career at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from 2004 to 2008, focusing on Hedge Fund Risk and Trading Risk Management in North America. Hakan holds a Master of Science in Chemical and Bio-Chemical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
