Michael Leonard

Michael Leonard is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Systematic Trading Compliance at Brevan Howard since March 2022. Previously, Michael held the position of Executive Director and VP, Head of Trading & Advisory Compliance at AQR Capital Management from August 2014 to March 2022. Michael's career also includes serving as Associate Director at Cubist Systematic Strategies, which operates under Point72 Asset Management, and as VP of Equities Compliance at Credit Suisse. Earlier roles include AVP - Market Surveillance and Regulatory Inquiries at Citi and Investigation Analyst in the Enforcement Division at NYSE. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Finance from Gettysburg College, along with additional education from the University of Essex.
