Kari Harrington is the current Business Development Manager for Advertising & Sponsorship at the Brewers Association. Kari has over 10 years of experience in event planning and management, and has been instrumental in launching and growing two successful businesses in this field.
Harrington began their career in 2000 as an Account Coordinator at The Creative Alliance, a marketing communications firm. Kari quickly rose through the ranks, being promoted to Account Manager in 2001 and Senior Client Services Manager in 2006. In this role, they developed clients' annual marketing plans, managed budgets and timelines, and was the main point of contact for major initiatives.
In 2005, Harrington left The Creative Alliance to launch Bridgetown Events, a new events company. Kari successfully grew the business over the next year before selling it in 2006.
Since then, Harrington has been focusing on their role at the Brewers Association, where they have been responsible for developing and executing advertising and sponsorship strategies. In this role, they have been able to use their extensive knowledge of the events industry to help grow the Association's reach and impact.
Kari Harrington has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University—Pueblo. Kari majored in mass communications with a minor in supervisory management.
